Our story began when founder Andrew Smith followed in the footsteps of his older brother, joining him in the Toronto film industry as a Scenic Painter with IATSE Local 873. Working behind the scenes on major productions like The Handmaid's Tale, IT, Suits, Suicide Squad and more. Learning hard work, precision, creativity, and the importance of making customers happy — skills that would later become the foundation of his painting career.

After years in film, Andrew took his expertise into residential and commercial painting, subcontracting with the top painting companies in Toronto. There, he refined his techniques, learned the value of reliable service, and developed an eye for detail that homeowners and business owners appreciate.

With a commitment to delivering the highest quality results and a personal touch, Andrew founded Professional Painting Toronto, which has since evolved into Professional Painting Today — a trusted name in residential and commercial painting across Ontario.
